Have I ever mentioned how much I want to nerve gas lots of people? |

Someone just set off the fire alarm. At midnight. I am going to do something very slow and very painful to them, and I have a sneaking suspicion who it might be. Fucking bastard fire regulations. Fucking bastard idiot flatmates. I notice that there is a directly proportional relationship between the frequency of my posting here and the amount of profanity per post... CUNT. K xx |

| [ | music |
| | ministry- cold life dub | ] | ok, another update, this time me rambling about stuff i think. kudos to marj for reminding me to vent my spleen upon you, the unsuspecting public.
i'm getting kinda sick of going to clubs where i don't like much of the music, and less of the people. why can't anyone do a decent metal night that both pulls punters and manages to play decent stuff that's actually alternative, where you can go without being on drugs (or on drugs, if thats your thing) and have a decent night? maybe this new "the pit" night at the arches will be good; dionysyus and syth playing this weekend should be fun, if i can find anyone to go with. looks like i'll probably have to skip the industrial night this week at the arches this week though, for that very same reason. fuckers.
why does dave have to move out? now we have to find another fucking flatmate, and our pal options seem to be exhausted. dave, you're a tit.
it is also kinda shit that about a year ago on any given night we could easily have mustered a full table of lads, plus assorted ladettes for a night in the pub at least. now, we can get about 4 or 5 on a regular basis, and its near impossible to organise a decent night out since theres always someone who has work in the morning. gah.
amazon and/or the post office are fuckers also. ordered all the opeth albums i don't have from them the day before the new one came out. they were finally shipped 2 1/2 weeks later, and i have yet to get them. cunts!!!!
goldie lookin chain are funny as fuck.
i need to make some new pals. my social skill are inadequate for the task. gah once again.
some tunes for you all to check out: "the fall went right through here" and "the perfumed garden" by omnium gatherum. shit, shit name, but such sweet sweet finnish melodic death thrash with awsome soloing and sweeping leads. its a lot less offensive than it sounds; listen and learn.
henryk gorecki, symphony no. 3 1st mvt: "Lento- sostenuto tranquilo ma cantabile"- probably the single most beautiful piece of music i've ever heard. not offensive at all, no metal involved, just a gorgeous buildup, then breakdown. oooooh.
brian eno and david byrne- "america is waiting". quite strange early experiment in what would later become sampling; kinda strangely groovy, with cool voices talking, but no actual vocals from either byrne or eno. the whole "my life in the bush of ghosts" lp is well worth a listen.
that should keep you going for a bit.
i hate german grammar. signing off... |

| | ministry- supermanic soul | ] | but here we are with another infrequent update to keep you all thrilled and enthralled til next time. its been all change since last we spoke, what with moving, out (with jamie, dodgy dave, t'case and soon twinny too), getting a job (i am now working 35-45 hours a week in any branch of ladbrokes between duke st. and fuckin' shettleston... and if i have to see another football coupon in my life i might just crack and kill someone), passing my exams (B, B and B/C :-D )and generally 'aving it large. bought a computah also, so the whole flat is interwebbed to fuck. i also have over four and a half thousand mp3s on shuffle- its like having the most insane dj playing a set to blow ya mind: from 1000 homo djs to zyklon, via bach, king tubby and charles mingus.
moving out has been pretty good, although i am feeling kinda wage slaved at the moment... still, september i should be down to 12 hours a week, and i can rock t'fuck out.
tendonitis sucks. i can hardly play anything just no, and seany bubbles is filling in with the mighty 'nath, who are projecting ever upwards... hopefully i can get it sorted soon. if anyone has any *useful* suggestions, let me know...
tune of the moment: PTP- rubber glove seduction, i think; fucked up groovy sterile funk industrial. get it.
still single. ho hum. |

| | mercyful fate- "don't break the oath" | ] | weell, it looks like it's time for my quarterly update- i should really try and do it a bit more often i suppose. so what's new? dumped the bird, for reasons i can't be arsed explaining here, but which did make me feel like a total bastard. but there you go, happens to the best of us.
on a more positive note, the mighty argonath seems to be on a fairly steep upward trajectory. did our first international support gig on monday, supporting a czech black metal band (adultery) and necrosadistic goat torture, who surprised us all by being ok. big up to jamie and marj for heading along for a good night all round. now been offered a gig at the cathouse as well as one in barrow in furness in ENGLAND! which should be fun. catty is 22/12 if ya wanna come, barrow is 27th.
uni is ok, although my complete lack of ability in getting a job is getting irritating... getting shat on by deutsch, dunno really how the other things are doing. really wish i could get out of here- not wanting to come out cos it's a pain in the arse to get home has to end!
i will find a way. |

| | nuffin- been a quite day | ] | hmm, ok, it has been a reasonably eventful summer... went to west of scotland orchestra course, was pretty uneventful. went to toward, for the glasgow schools course, was pretty good- god tunes, good banter, etc. academy concert was good too, and i also managed to find a girlfriend there- 'tis nice to have someone who misses one again i must say, although it is wierd having another link back to the world of skool. nyos was fun indeed, especially since you dont have to obey rules when you're a senior, and sitting 10th out of 10 basses was awe-inspiring. been to a few parties, got drunk a few times, had some band practices, with a new drummer of course- the mighty mcdibet- did a couple of shocking gigs then one immense one at the ol' vale. hung about with florence (my lovely lady) a lot, tried to find a job, tried to get my student loan application filled out (as yet unsucessfully) tried to find a double bass (ditto)etc. etc. on a more positive note, freshers week this week! and then proper uni a couple of weeks later! ooh i can hardly wait. 'tis nice tha everyone i know who's still in the city seems to be going to glasgow uni...i think i was definitely the trend setter though.ha ha ha. well, there you go. aye, fuck off. love kyle |
